Newry is a small town on the east coast of Ireland and lies on the direct route between Belfast and Dublin. Newry nestles in the valley of the Clanrye River, between two mountain ranges, the Mourne Mountains and the Cooley Mountains. The area is steeped in history and provides an excellent base for visitors to explore South Down and South Armagh, to sample the culture and the 'craic'.
